Dr. Hennessey graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1992. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at The Ohio State University Hospitals in 1996. Dr. Hennessey met his professional colleague and business partner, Dr. Kozakiewicz, during his residency at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Hennessey is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. and has published multiple peer-reviewed medical articles and textbook chapters in his field of physiatry. His topics of publication include carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve conduction studies, lower limb bracing, gait abnormalities and radiculopathies.
Dr. Hennessey serves as a Co-Director of the Excela Health Spine Center with his partner, Dr. Kozakiewicz. Dr. Hennessey is a frequently sought after guest speaker with many regional engagements on workers’ compensation-related medical topics and as a national guest lecturer for annual Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation review courses.
Dr. Hennessey is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. He holds active medical licenses to practice medicine in PA and WV.
Dr. Kozakiewicz graduated from the Penn State College of Medicine in 1993. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency of The Ohio State University Hospitals in 1997. Dr. Kozakiewicz met his professional colleague and business partner, Dr. Hennessey, during his residency at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Kozakiewicz is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kozakiewicz has also published multiple peer-reviewed medical articles and textbook chapters in his field of physiatry.

Dr. Kozakiewicz serves as the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for Excela Health, a three hospital system comprised of Latrobe Area Hospital, Westmoreland Hospital and Frick Hospital in Westmoreland County, PA. as well as a Co-Director of the Excela Health Spine Center with Dr. Hennessey.
Dr. Kozakiewicz is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He holds an active medical license to practice medicine in PA.
